St. Patricks Day Parade

New York, NY. March 12, 2020 

The Board of Directors of the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade announces with a heavy heart that at the direction of NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, the 2020 New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been postponed due to coronavirus (COVID-19) activity in our region. 

The health and safety of the Parade’s marchers which includes many members of our armed forces, first responders, schools and colleges, as well as spectators, volunteers, and staff is paramount. 

March 17th Tuesday

PLACE AND TIME OF ASSEMBLY

Place: East 44th Street between 5th Ave and Vanderbilt Ave

  • Ahead of the last unit in the block between Madison and Vanderbilt.

  • After Laoh Suffolk

Time: 11:40am

Dress Code: Business Attire

Cllr Suzanne Doyle will represent Kildare County Council.

2020 Guidelines for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Participants

  1. Business attire must be worn in order to march.

  2. The only banners allowed are the ones identifying the unit. Only one banner for each unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!

  3. Green hats, sneakers, or other “odd ball dress” are NOT PERMITTED!

  4. Shirts with advertising are NOT PERMITTED!

  5. No displays of any kind will be permitted.

  6. No animals or mascots.
